A little bit about Mara

Mara Sparacino is a Long Island, New York native and a soon-to-be graduate of Syracuse University’s BFA Acting program, where she will graduate Summa Cum Laude.

She is a Syosset High School alumna and a proud second-generation Italian American, raised in a big, close knit family that has always encouraged her to dream big and, above all, make her grandma proud.

Outside of acting, Mara is happiest when she’s creating. She has a love for fashion and she especially enjoys up-cycling anything she can find from the thrift store! As a former cheerleader, she has always been drawn to performance, movement, and the energy that comes with being part of a team.

Whether she’s onstage, behind a sewing machine, or surrounded by family, Mara brings a little bit of creativity, a lot of personality, and plenty of heart to whatever she does.
